At the South Cumberland State Park, you can learn where established trails are located and partake in a short relaxing hike on your own or on an all day, ranger guided hike. For the more adventurous souls, repel down the Stone Door Bluff or go rock climbing at Foster Falls.

Scenic drives will take you to water falls, spelunking, antiqueing and craft shopping, museums and much more. If fishing and boating are what you want, Tims Ford Lake State Park is close by with fishing guides and boat rentals available. - Shelbyville Chamber of Commerce



The South Cumberland State Park is truly the wilderness heart of the southern plateau, a refuge for flora and fauna. It is made up of ten different areas located in four different counties.
